(1) Automatic replacement of specific words
1. Automatic replacement of specific words/Phrases allows a user to search through a document and replace any specific text with another word/phrase. The first step of replacing the words/phrases in a document is to select the 'Replace' button under the 'Home' tab in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.
2. Once 'Replace' has been selected a menu will pop up asking for 'Find what' and 'Replace with,' select the 'Find what' text box and enter the word/phrase that you want to replace in the document, after the word/phrase has been entered select the 'Replace with' text box and enter what you would like these words/phrases to be replaced with. Once the desired words/phrases have been entered click 'Replace all.' If you would like to replace the words/phrases individually there is a option to just 'replace' one by one or even move onto the next word/phrase to replace instead by clicking 'Find next.'
(2) Removing the toolbar ribbon
1. One quick and easy tip for Word is hiding the toolbar ribbon at the top of the page which can be distracting when working on documents, hitting CTRL+ F1 while on word will hide this menu and stop any disruptions.
(3) Deleting words with one key press
1. A simple way of deleting a large text without having to hold backspace is to hold CTRL while pressing backspace which will delete whole words instead of letters.

1. Creating custom lines a document could be helpful for customizing a document for presentation or to separate different topics within a document. A custom line is created when three characters are typed and then 'Enter' is pressed on the keyboard, these specific characters include:
