Accessing the legacy SIMS server
The old school SIMS servers have been migrated to a virtual desktop in the cloud.
You can access SIMS by logging on to a virtual PC, and running SIMS from the desktop as normal.
You will need this link:
SAND-Workspace
Click on this and you will see a page with one icon:
This 'SessionDesktop' icon is the virtual PC. Click on it.
Sign in with your normal email and password.
This will sign you into a Windows 11 desktop, and you should see the SIMS icon on the desktop. Double click on it.
Sign into SIMS in the normal way. The only difference to what you might be used to is that you need to select which school's SIMS you want to log into, as they have all been migrated to this server. Use the drop down box the choose which school to sign into.
