How to turn a PowerPoint slideshow into a video format
The following steps below will help you convert a normal PowerPoint slideshow into a video, and convert it into a format which you can upload to DOJO, and any other app. This will also convert video's which have been embedded within the slideshow too.
1. Open the slideshow you would like to convert. The slideshow can be from your OneDrive, School SharePoint or one which has been shared via Teams or email

2. Once the Slideshow has been opened the next stage is to select File from your top task bar.

3. When the panel on the left appears select Export.

4. On the export panel select create video. Now you can select the resolution you would like the video to be for example: Ultra HD 4K (largest file size), Full HD 1080p (large file size) , HD 720p (medium file size), and Standard 480p (smallest file size). Once you are happy with the resolution you can now select the create video button.

5. Once the file has exported open VLC Player. We will now convert the video file to the correct format for DOJO.
6. When VLC has opened select Media on the top task bar and then select Convert / Save.

7. In the next window which appears select add and then find the file which you would like to convert. Select the file and click the open button, as soon as the file appears in the window select Convert / Save.

8. In the next window you will need to select a profile to convert too. In this instance we know a MP4 is required. On the profile drop down menu select Video - H.264 + MP3 (MP4). This file format will convert your video to the correct format to retain quality and sound, as well as making the file size even smaller. You can know choose where to save the finished file, and rename it by either adding a number at the end or renaming the file all together. In this example we have added a 2 at the end.

9. When you are happy the above profile has been selected you can chose to start the conversion to MP4.
10. As soon as the file has finished conversion you are then able to upload it to DOJO, share via email or through another app.
